How it all started...
Trinity Anglican Church is a welcoming, lively, and traditional community of believers. As a congregation we have been worshiping in Bakersfield since 1879. After losing buildings to a fire in the early 1900's and an earthquake in 1952, the congregation settled in for sixty one years on the edge of downtown Bakersfield. In 2013, we took on our new name of Trinity and walked away from our facility in order to remain true to the historic gospel. Through every season of our history, we have remained committed to loving God and loving the city of Bakersfield. In 2017, God blessed us with our new campus where we continue to worship Him and love our city.
Expanding the vision...
We believe that God blesses us in order to be a blessing to the world. That's why we are so honored to do ministry to the families of our community through Trinity Preschool, FLOOD ministry to the homeless and needy, the Bakersfield Pregnancy Center, and Prison and Life Recovery ministries.
Where we are headed...
It's all about Jesus! Trinity is centered on inviting people to know Jesus Christ for the sake of the world. As we grow as disciples of Jesus, we are also called to help one another grow as disciples, even as we intentionally invite others to become disciples of Jesus.
