Outdoor Palm Procession with Children
Holy Communion with dramatic reading of the Passion
Children's Sunday School
What is Palm Sunday?
The service begins as we join Jesus for His triumphal entry into Jerusalem, where palms and cloaks were strewn upon His way and the city welcomed their Savior. Our procession begins on the patio and will be led by a bell choir as we joyfully enter into worship. We find that the joy of Jesus’ entry is short lived, for it would be only a few days before the crowd would call out, “Crucify him,” and so the service continues with the Passion of Jesus

Maundy Thursday

Holy Communion
Stripping of the Altar
What is Maundy Thursday?
Maundy, meaning 'commandment' is the day Jesus instituted the Lord's Supper,  wherein he "commanded us to continue, a perpetual memory of his death and passion until his coming again" (2019 BCP, p. 116). The service begins in celebration of this, however, after communion, as Jesus left the upper room and was betrayed by Judas Iscariot, we strip the altar and remove the reserved sacrament and sanctuary light, reminding us that Jesus will be removed from the world.
Good Friday

Good Friday
April 7, 2023
7:00 p.m.
Scripture and Prayers before the Cross
What is Good Friday?
Good Friday is the day Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. We gather for readings, music, and meditations upon the glory of the Cross.  The Sanctuary looks barren with the Cross looming in our midst.  As the service closes, the congregation again leaves in silence, for the service is not over, but will continue with the celebration of the Resurrection.
Easter Vigil
April 16, 2022
The Great Vigil of Easter
April 8, 2023
7:00 p.m.
Holy Communion
What is the Great Vigil?
This is one of the oldest services still used by the Church.  The service continues where Friday left us.  We begin in silence and in the darkness of the tomb as we listen to readings from the story of Salvation, pray, and sing.  But with the Easter acclamation, the darkness is dispelled and our Resurrection celebration begins!

What is Easter?
Easter is the foundation of our faith. This is the day that our Lord rose victorious from the dead, defeating death so that we may not die. We gather on this day of days to celebrate Christ's Redemptive work. Christos Anesti! (Greek for 'Christ is Risen')
